For most new patients, their first appointment includes the above. When you first visit the dental practice you will be requested to complete a medical history form. This allows us to be aware of any general health conditions you may have. If you take medication, please bring in a copy of your prescription or your medicines with you.
Your Oral Health Check will begin with a consultation with Dentist Dr Rashpal so you may discuss any dental concerns you may have, with her. She will carry out a clinical examination which includes soft tissue screening, and assessment of your gums and teeth. This is followed by investigations as needed. Common investigations are digital x-rays and digital images. Most new patients require 2 x-rays on average. Further x-rays may be necessary, if so Dentist Dr Rashpal will discuss with you before taking them.
After the examination, Dr Rashpal will then spend time to help you understand the cause of any dental problems you may have. She will discuss treatment options with prices. She will also advise you on preventing future problems so you can take control of your oral health. We will formulate a personalised dental care plan for you and a written treatment plan with estimate of costs is provided.
Once we've both agreed the treatment plan and you are ready to proceed, we shall arrange for your next appointment. Your first appointment will usually last about 30 to 45 minutes.
Our Fees Guide provides a list of prices for common treatments. As every patient is individual, treatments vary from one patient to another and therefore so will the fees. That's why, once we've assessed your specific treatment needs, we will provide you with a bespoke treatment care plan with prices.
Many dental insurance companies, such as Simply Health reimburse patients for their dental treatment. This can be a cost effective way to receive high quality private dental care. Please let us know if you have dental insurance when booking your appointment.

We are an amalgam free practice and do not place silver amalgam fillings.
Payment is requested at the time of booking an appointment. All treatment must have been paid in full by the day of completion. We accept major debit and credit cards and cash payments.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice prior to your appointment time. This allows us to allocate that time to patients wishing to attend.
Late cancellation / Non attendance fee is £25 per 15 minute appointment time. Recurrent missed or cancelled appointments may result in termination of treatment.
